Fortus Federal Technologies exists to restore the industrial and scientific dominance of the United States and its allies. We hold the security of your information to the same standard we hold that mission: it is not an administrative obligation, it is a sovereign purpose. The people who contact us are program managers, primes, investors and engineers whose association with this company can itself be sensitive. We treat that association as something to be protected, not merely recorded.
This policy describes what we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the rights you hold over it. It applies to fortusfederal.us and to any information you submit through it.
Information you provide. When you submit our contact form we collect your first and last name, official email address, telephone number, organization, subject of inquiry, and the content of your message. We collect this only because you choose to send it.
Information collected automatically. Our servers record standard request data, including IP address, user agent, referring page, and timestamp. This data is generated by the operation of the web server itself and is used for security monitoring and abuse prevention.
We do not use advertising cookies, third-party analytics trackers, or cross-site behavioural profiling on this site.
We use the information you submit to respond to your inquiry, to evaluate potential commercial, investment, or partnership relationships, and to comply with legal, regulatory, and export-control obligations applicable to a United States defense contractor.
We use automatically collected request data to secure the service, detect and prevent abuse, and maintain availability.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. We have not done so in the preceding twelve months.
Where the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, we process personal data on the following bases: performance of, or steps preparatory to, a contract, where your inquiry concerns a commercial relationship; our legitimate interests in responding to business inquiries, securing our systems, and protecting our personnel and facilities; compliance with a legal obligation, including export-control and sanctions screening; and your consent, where you have given it, which you may withdraw at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.
We disclose personal information only where necessary and only to: service providers who host our infrastructure and deliver our communications, bound by contract to process data solely on our instructions; professional advisers, including counsel and auditors, under a duty of confidentiality; government agencies where required by law, regulation, subpoena, court order, or the terms of a contract or clearance; and an acquirer or successor in the event of a merger, acquisition, or transfer of assets, subject to this policy.
We do not disclose personal information to data brokers.
Our infrastructure is operated in the United States. If you contact us from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed there.
Where personal data is transferred from the United Kingdom or European Economic Area, we rely on the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, together with supplementary technical and organisational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data.
We apply administrative, technical, and physical safeguards proportionate to the sensitivity of the information we hold. These include encryption in transit, access control on a least-privilege and need-to-know basis, network segmentation, logging and monitoring, and periodic review of access rights.
No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise. Do not transmit classified, export-controlled, or otherwise restricted information through this website. Use an approved channel.
We retain contact submissions for as long as necessary to address your inquiry and to maintain a record of the relationship, and thereafter for the period required by our legal, contractual, and regulatory obligations. Server logs are retained on a rolling basis for security purposes. When information is no longer required we delete it or render it irreversibly de-identified.
California residents. Under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA you have the right to know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and retain; to access it in a portable form; to request correction; to request deletion; to limit the use of sensitive personal information; and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information, so no opt-out is required.
United Kingdom and European Economic Area. You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interests. You may lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office or your national supervisory authority.
